Kitchen update

The painter is putting on another coat, but the dishwasher is in, the stove is in, it looks like a kitchen, the lights are done...

Spring in 2012

The kitchen and bathroom renovations that were supposed to take 2 weeks are in their fourth! The bathroom was supposed to be finished today. We have at least another 2 weeks before the kitchen goes in. Thank you to all those lovely people who are helping us cope in the meantime, you know who you are!
However, the gardens look lovely, with all the spring flowers and more to come. Mostly music practice still happens. Club football has finished although I had a meeting in Wellington on Saturday so I didn't get to enjoy a lie in! Zach still has FTC (Federation training centre and reps.
I am off to Dunedin on Thursday and will catch up with Katarina. While she was home she did some art work which she did not want to take on the bus with her. I am an art courier.
Most days, Hannah gets picked up by Ellie, a school friend. Ellie is Very Organised, and Hannah hasn't been late to school since this new arrangement started. Ellie has a new bike, and doesn't seem to mind waiting for Hannah, who would rather have her nose in a book than get ready. Remind you of anyone?
Janine has been putting in extra time at the youth room at church - the new youth worker invited them to paint his wall, and they didn't need to be asked twice!!!
Chris was crook last week with a cold which didn't help the study very much. He is better now.
