Holiday Program

Late posting this week as the whole family has been flat out running "Investigators Incorporated", the latest holiday program. Zach played theme music, Janine wrote and performed, Katarina did a great job behind the scenes, and Chris did back up on laminator and computer and whatever else needed doing. Of course, nothing would have happened without our great team of young people as well, plus an awesome team of craft ladies who come in each day with various activities.

We are off for a well deserved holiday this week; Hannah is going to stay with her grandparents in Oamaru, and Zach is playing football in Ashburton.

We are thinking of Tracy and Duncan this week; Tracy's brother passed away on Thursday, leaving a wife and two young children, in Christchurch.

Frosty July mornings

A cold is slowly working its way around the family, nothing serious enough to keep people off school, but lots of coughs and sniffles in the house.
Katarina went to Connect, a Presbyterian youth leaders conference at Living Springs, near Christchurch. She is looking forward to the Craighead ball this Friday.
Janine, Hannah and I are going to the Timaru Girls High School production tonight; Janine wanted to help, but she is too busy with all her other activities, Girl's Brigade on Tuesday, study group on Wednesday, and youth group on Sunday, all rehearsal times.
Zach is playing some pretty funky piano pieces as he prepares for his Grade One music exam.
Work is busy with two funerals last week and two this week.
