Big week

There is lots going on this week.
We have a big essay due on Friday, please pray for Chris as he is still working on his.
I took chapel this week, we did a cafe style which meant lots of extra work. We combined it with a visit from the Strawberry Sound guy, which was good value. Worth doing but tiring. So this morning I have preached and also taken my first communion.

Tonight we meet with the Introduction work group, having had a brief glance at the profiles this afternoon. None of the parishes are jumping off the page for us at this stage but we have to pray through the whole thing. Please pray with us!

Chris is off to Wellington this weekend for Mo Mansill's wedding, and I am taking the children to Leith Valley family camp - so no study for either of us this weekend!
Temperature is dropping, the leaves are changing colour, all well other wise

Marching on

Last week, Hannah and I were counting to one hundred on the way to school. If you take the big steps to Chambers street, there are 101 steps. And when we were sick of that, we starting reading out number plates. They are a bit more of a challenge than letter boxes as they have letters and numbers and there are more things to read.
This week, we are having an art's week; we've started by singing all sorts of songs on the way to school. Who knows where we might be on Friday?
Zach is just about driving us crazy with his antics; he is heartily sick of the cast and is finding all sorts of creative ways to get around and perch precariously in different places. I caught him sliding down the stairs on Saturday. To say that he is on the mend is an understatement. We go back to the fracture clinic on Thursday for another X ray and hopefully a smaller cast; this one has about had it!
We had DNI interviews last week with the girls, they both much appreciated by their teachers and need to work on their basic facts for maths. I have resorted to bribery I'm afraid. They are both desperate for a cell phone so I have said we will get them one each WHEN they get 100 on their basic facts test. I am hoping this will encourage them to put the work in to learn their times tables off.
Chris has finally finished the census, just as well as the assignments are starting to pile up!

must be getting busy...

Wednesday already and I haven't updated the blog...
Leith started their second service last week, which went well. I was able to help with music for the second service which was cool.
The weather has turned cold and nasty this week, we've had the fire on and it seems such a pity after the lovely Febuary we had. Never mind, there is plenty to read!!!
Chris is busy working on census stuff, the girl's have started music lessons and we signed Zak up for soccer - an act of faith when he is in a wheelchair.
