Retreat! Retreat!

We're just back from our Retreat at Holy Cross, Mosgiel. The van broke down on the way back so it was a bit of a mission getting home; the clutch has gone so that will be expensive. Fortunately we have heard about a fund to cover such dire emergancies so we shall be investigating that presently! And we have been lent a car for the weekend which is a blessing.

Oma has been holding the fort valiently; all the children are sick with flu, coughing away miserably although Zach was well enough yesterday to go out to play at a friend's house. I am not much better myself - just as well it was a silent retreat!

SOM and the second week of the holidays start next week; looks like snow...
