Wanderings in Wanaka

We've had a great time on holiday with only one or two minor glitches.

Hannah and I spent a night in Dunstan Hospital after her croup deterioated on Monday. This was just a precautionary measure you understand, but there are only limited medical facilities in Wanaka so they shipped us off. So, instead of having lunch, I found myself in an ambulance with a very sad Hannah. There is a picture of "our" ambulance officers in the ODT this morning!

We were fine of course, once the steroids kicked in the 'barking' stopped but they kept us in overnight for observation and Chris picked us up in the morning. So we had a slow day on Tuesday, went ski-ing at Cadrona on Wednesday which the children just loved and Puzzleword on Thursday, back home Friday via Ranfurly and Middlemarch.

Everyone is off to music and soccer this morning so I can Clean Up.
