Steamin' on
We saw the trains! We saw the trains! To celebrate the centenary of Dunedin Railway station, a number of steam locomotives are in Dunedin at the moment and we were there for the official bit, quite by accident. Far too close to the cannon too! They really are amazing pieces of machinary.
Chris is flat out finishing a number of assignments, not long to go now but there is plenty of work to do. We stayed in Dunedin for the long weekend, and I have managed to take 3 out of 4 children to breakfast and the last one came shopping with me. It has been a good time to take a deep breath and catch up.
We had a samll gathering on Friday night to celebrate my 40th birthday, a few friends and nieghbours which was lovely. As a result, Chris has re-arranged all the furniture.
No jobs on the horizen and we are thinking through all our options at the moment. We have also just organised to spend a week recording 5 or 6 worship songs, which is pretty exciting.
