Wine and food and other cultural bits

Timaru is a great wee city; this weekend the Hospice ran the annual Wine and Food Festival, complete with bands, food tasting, wine tasting, art and craft and all held in the lovely Botanic Gardens. Lots of people, gorgeous day, good times!
This weekend, the 'Whirlygig Troupe' also put on one of their outdoor Shakespeare plays, 'The Taming of the Shrew'. This year they managed to get funding for a sound system which made the whole thing so easy to watch. All four children came down with me after church, and while it was pretty chilly, especially after the fab day before, the rain held off and we all enjoyed ourselves.
The children survived their first week of school, and Zach and Hannah are finally getting some pool time.
